Oil vs. Kings Tonight

The Oilers take on the Kings tonight at Rexall and the expectation from everyone is that the Oil must win the game. There are no excuses for a loss tonight. The Kings got beat up by the Flames last night so they are in back-to-back games on the road and the Oilers have had a stretch of days off. A rested team against a beat up team. Man for man the Oilers are more skilled and have better goaltending. It is a must win.

Garon is in net, the kid line is back together...and we need to see big things from the top line of Horcoff-Hemsky-Penner. It should be a convincing win too - like 5 -1 or 6 -2 or 7- 3. Anything less and I will be surprised, disappointed, and worried for what the rest of the year will look like.

If the Oilers do not win then we will see heads roll on Thursday. It is games like this that define a season for a team.
