Oilers-Avs preview and Liam Reddox

Coming off a brutal game against the Leafs, the Oilers look to have a better defensive effort vs. Colorado tonight. Feeling like some guys were not contributing at all, MacT has scratched Penner and Brodziak in favor of "Avery-like" Liam Reddox and tough guy Jesse Boulerice.

MacT is smart to bring up a guy like Reddox. I call Reddox "Avery-like" because unlike Stortini, he is an agitator that can actually produce goals. He has more skill than Bridziak and can stir it up, get vocal, and get under the other team's skin. Tonight will be the chance Reddox has been looking for to show the Oilers what he can do. ...look for him to be a factor tonight.

Boulerice will never be able to score like Penner but at least he will hit guys and stir it up with a fight if someone will "go" with him - much more than Penner is doing right now.

If the Oilers can find their legs back and can get good goaltending from Roloson, they have a good chance to win tonight as Hemsky is on fire right now and can count on good solid play from guys like Horcoff and Cole.
